What to expect from the ILM NVQ Diploma in Management & Leadership

Level 5

Starting The NVQ
- To get started you will need to complete our registration form
  
  As a minimum, you will need a copy of your photo ID.
  
  The NVQ can be started on any day.
During The NVQ
- The NVQ is completed using our easy online portfolio system and you will need to complete the steps below.
  1. A set of knowledge questions – you can write these or have a discussion with your assessor.
  2. Work through our additional CPD Approved E-Learning Courses. These will be tailored to the NVQ units that you pick.
  3. Ask your Line Manager or similar person to complete a witness testimony. We will provide you with the document.
  4. Gather evidence of the work that you carry out, this could be documentation or this could be completed via written case studies.
  5. Conduct a professional discussion with your assessor.
  6. Your assessor may need to conduct a video call with you.
Completing Your NVQ
- This can be completed in 8 weeks as long as you are prepared to work with your assessor and gather the correct evidence.
  
  Once completed you will receive your ILM NVQ diploma.

What Is a NVQ?
- An NVQ is an internationally recognised work-based qualification. It demonstrates to employees that you are skilled and able to perform well in your role.
  
  NVQs are work and practical based qualifications. You will gather workplace evidence and complete knowledge questions to demonstrate your ability.
What is the process?

Payment Plans
- – Plan 1: Payment in full – If you choose to pay for your NVQ in full, we will discount the overall cost by 10%
  
  – Plan 2: 50% At The Start of the NVQ & 50% Upon Completion
  
  – Plan 3: 33% At The Start of the NVQ, 33% After 1 Month & 33% Upon Completion of the NVQ
  
  – Plan 4: Interest free finance. We now offer 0% Finance Available Over 10 Months. Split the cost over 10 months. Please ask for more details.
Grants & Funding
- ELCAS Funding – Funding for service personnel and service leavers.
  For people with six years of service experience, funding is up to £1,000 per claim instalment. For people with eight years of service experience, funding is up to £2,000 per claim instalment. Click here to find out more.
Difference between Award, Certificate & Diploma
- ILM awards are short VRQ qualifications that are fast to complete. They are ideal for people wanting to expand their knowledge in a short amount of time.
  
  ILM certificates cover more key topics than awards and go into further detail on each unit. They are suited for people wanting to master an area of knowledge whilst still keeping study time short.
  
  ILM diplomas take the longest time to complete. They provide detailed learning, a larger scope of knowledge and a deeper understanding. They are ideal for people looking to advance their skills to the highest level.
